ONE Year on Empire Avenue!

Annual celebrations are useful for looking forward, looking back and appreciating what’s been done and those who made it possible.    It seems like only last week I was struggling to keep my ROI above one, my dividends high and to insure I was ‘engaged’ sufficiently daily to maintain my place.  This game is much easier in the beginning.

Along the way I have considering quitting many times.  Empire Avenue can be a time waster and at the same time, it has some advantages if you are pursuing any social media strategies.  The ability to hook up with the major players of social media in one location, have some idea about what you are doing and meet the actual movers and shakers, the expects on the leading edge, Empire Avenue is the place to play.

When it stops being fun for people, they leave.

I could blame fun on the game, the changes, and the updates and leave myself open to being at the affect of perception and circumstance.  An recent opportunity to play ‘BINGO’ had my usual no interest response and I looked at what made that game uninteresting to me.  When I was a child, we played the game from the radio where local advertisers gave away cards and prizes.  I remember listening for the hour with my three sisters and my mom, all of us with a dozen or more cards.  A couple days of no one winning and nothing but the hope of winning to keep me interested I stopped participating.  My interest in ‘gambling’ except on a sure thing has since then been zero.

Empire Avenue has numerous ways to ‘win’ and numerous strategies available.  It is a multidimensional BINGO game in some ways.  You always manufacture the fun yourself and what I found fun a year ago here is no longer available to me.  I have watched many people come and go in the last year too.   I have over 100 million eaves of worth and earn nearly 800K every day.  What to do with it, how it makes a difference, is a motivation.

What will the next year bring?  The first million was the toughest.  The last 100 million happened like clockwork.  Just maintaining a daily appearance suggests a 400 million mark by this date next year.  What goals do you have for your play?

Getting Close to a Year on Empire Avenue

In about two weeks, I will celebrate my first birthday on Empire Avenue.  Rather remarkable set of accomplishments along the way and the most important reason is do NOT quit.   I am close to breaking into $200 share territory and I will pass the 100 million mark in eaves about the same time.

This last year my play has changed as my ‘size’ in the game changed.  It was more fun and a much easier a year ago than it is now.  Once upon a time, I ‘worked’ to stay above a div of one and an ROI above one.  Perhaps there is a way to now on an hour sometimes two a day but I do not see it.  Unless I am willing to dedicate three or four hour’s daily to social media the div stay below one.  An ROI above one now mean div above two! I am not going to work the net for 8 hours or more daily. However, a year ago, I would not have believed I would have the eaves I do now or accomplished all that I have this last year.

Beginning next week, a new venue will own the largest portion of my daily schedule.  I will be unwilling to spend any time between 7am and 5pm M-F doing anything but earning real money.  Some of what I have mastered at Empire Avenue will prove useful.

Most people and most systems believe in the law of large numbers.  Make a big enough mess and it will all work out essentially.  I know, I don’t have to believe, in the law of 100% will say yes if you ask the question so they can hear it.  If you have 50 minutes I recommend you listen and watch my rant.  A clue to what’s coming.

Is the Soup Done Yet?

A story I have heard many times is ‘Bob’ is building something on his property. There comes a time where he needs to buy, rent or borrow a tool to finish a step before he can complete the project.  Knowing his neighbor is home and has the tool he requires off he goes to see his neighbor.  Bob and Bill are good friends who have been neighbors for ten years or more.  When Bob asks Bill if he can borrow his ‘tool’ for the afternoon, Bill says, ‘The soup isn’t done yet.’    Initially Bob believes Bill doesn’t understand so they go through the question and answer at least one more time.  “The soup isn’t done yet.”

Eventually Bob gets Bill to say, “I don’t want to loan you my tool and one excuse is as good as any other.”   What is it about humans that can’t just say no. What is it about us that we like to make communication less clear and more like mud.  The upsets are always about the mud!

Recently a few people wondered why I should care about Obamacare living in Colombia.  It as not funny as dynamite but USGOV doesn’t care where its citizens [slaves] live.  It wants their money no matter what!  The USA is the only country in the world that taxes, requires tribute, no matter where its citizens live.   That said, the benefits are far better living outside the USA than living in any one of the 57 states Obama has visited or the other two he missed during his last run for office.

The cool thing is Empire Avenue has decided the soup is done! And there is more pie coming!!!

The End of a Series Begins a New One

The Great World Wide Land Rush and Property Wikia is no longer part of my routine.

I enjoyed meeting many new people and learning a ton about many locations.  I am leaving the door open that perhaps the effort will produce something eventually.  As long as the sites are up the possibility is there.  The likelihood is near zero.  The lessons learned will prove useful in the weeks ahead.

The blog will begin conversations started or found on Empire Avenue.  I will offer players who are experiencing success as models for playing the game.  Empire has gone through numerous changes in my months of activity.  This investment in time as paid dividends worth more than the ones I earned with Property Wikia.

Who knows, there may be a correlation!

It’s finally here. My first twenty-five weeks with Property Wikia and will I be paid and how much?

Truth is I do not know.
